Information on the processing of your personal data pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 GDPR

Last updated: 14 July 2026

1. Overview

Protecting your personal data matters to us. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit this website or contact us, why we collect it, what we do with it, and the rights you have. We have deliberately built this website to collect as little data as possible: it uses no analytics, no tracking, no advertising technology, no social-media plugins and no third-party fonts or scripts.

2. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website within the meaning of the GDPR is:

AutoVanta UG (haftungsbeschränkt)

Weißenfelser Straße 22

12627 Berlin

Germany

info@freshfleet.eu

We are not legally required to appoint a Data Protection Officer. For any question concerning your data, please contact us at the address above.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted on servers within the European Union operated by our hosting provider, who acts as a processor on our behalf under a data-processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR. Your data is not transferred outside the EU/EEA.

When you access this website, the server automatically records technical information in log files that your browser transmits. This includes the requested page, the date and time of the request, the referrer URL, your browser type and version, your operating system, and your IP address.

Legal basis: Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure, stable and functional operation of this website and the defence against attacks. This data is never used to identify you personally and is not combined with other data sources.

Retention: server log files are deleted after a maximum of 7 days, unless a specific security incident requires longer retention for evidential purposes.

4. Cookies

This website does not use cookies. We set no analytics, advertising, profiling or preference cookies, and we use no comparable technologies such as local storage or fingerprinting. Because nothing on this site requires your consent under § 25 TDDDG, you will not see a cookie banner. Your language is stored in the URL, not on your device.

5. Fonts and external resources

All fonts, styles, scripts and images are served directly from our own server. This website makes no connection to any third-party service — no external font provider, no content-delivery network, no embedded videos, no maps and no social-media buttons. Your IP address is therefore never transmitted to a third party simply because you loaded a page.

6. Contact form and email contact

If you send us an enquiry via our contact form or by email, we process the data you provide in order to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions.

Data we process

  • Your name
  • Your company name
  • Your work email address
  • Your telephone number (if you choose to provide it)
  • Your city or country of operation (if you choose to provide it)
  • Your fleet size and vehicle types (if you choose to provide them)
  • The services you express interest in
  • The content of your message
  • The date and time of submission

Legal basis

Where your enquiry relates to a contract or to pre-contractual measures, processing is based on Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR. In all other cases, processing is based on your consent under Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR, which you give by ticking the consent box before sending the form. You may withdraw your consent at any time, with effect for the future, by sending an informal message to info@freshfleet.eu. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Protection against misuse

To protect the form from automated abuse, we briefly process your IP address in the server's working memory in order to limit the number of submissions from a single address. This data is not written to a database, is not used to identify you, and is discarded within one hour. Legal basis: Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is protecting our systems from spam and abuse.

Retention

We retain your enquiry until it has been fully dealt with and no further questions arise — as a rule, no longer than 24 months after the last contact. Statutory retention obligations, in particular commercial and tax-law obligations under the German Commercial Code and Fiscal Code, remain unaffected and may require us to keep certain business correspondence for up to 6 or 10 years.

7. Recipients of your data

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising purposes. Your data is accessible only to those employees who need it in order to answer your enquiry. Beyond that, your data is processed by our hosting and email provider, which acts strictly on our instructions as a processor under Article 28 GDPR. Data is processed within the European Union.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights at any time, free of charge:

Right of access (Art. 15)
You may ask us whether we process data about you, and if so, to receive a copy of it and information about how it is processed.
Right to rectification (Art. 16)
You may require us to correct inaccurate data about you and to complete incomplete data.
Right to erasure (Art. 17)
You may require us to delete your data, provided no statutory retention obligation prevents it.
Right to restriction (Art. 18)
You may require us to restrict the processing of your data instead of deleting it.
Right to data portability (Art. 20)
You may require the data you have provided to us to be handed over in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
Right to object (Art. 21)
You may object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on our legitimate interests.
Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7 (3))
Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.

To exercise any of these rights, an informal message to info@freshfleet.eu is enough.

9. Right to lodge a complaint

If you believe that our processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement. The authority responsible for us is:

Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin, Germany

10. Data security

This website is transmitted exclusively over an encrypted TLS (HTTPS) connection, which you can recognise by the lock symbol in your browser's address bar. We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against manipulation, loss, and unauthorised access, and we review these measures as technology develops.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy so that it always reflects the current legal requirements and any changes to our services. The version published on this page at the time of your visit applies.

12. Language

This privacy policy is provided in several languages for your convenience. In the event of any discrepancy between the language versions, the German version shall prevail.
